India could host shooting and archery events ahead of the main Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022. It can be understood that it is proposed that the events take place in either Chandigarh or New Delhi on Commonwealth Day, which would fall on Monday, March 14 in 2022. Odisha is going to host the men’s hockey World Cup in 2023, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said on Wednesday. The Chief Minister said the matches will be played both in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.
